Wildflower Cambridge 6" Basket 2-handled Bowl Footed Elegant Depression MINT WOW

Offered for sale is a beautiful piece of Elegant Depression Glass in the "Wildflower" pattern.  This pattern was manufactured by the Cambridge Glass Company during the 1940's and the 1950's.  This stunning pattern features various kinds of flowers and vines etched onto this elegant glass.  The pattern surrounds the entire piece except for the bottom of the dish.  I believe this bowl to be the 6 inch basket or bowl, footed, 2-handled, also referred to as a bonbon or candy dish.  I identified this pattern in the book "Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era" (13th edition, copyright 2009) by Gene & Cathy Florence.  This basket / bowl measures 5 1/2 inches across from handle to handle and 5 1/4 inches from the other side (without handles).  Please remember that the handled sides and the opposite sides are pinched in a bit - if I measure across from two opposite sides it measures 7 1/4 inches across.  This basket / bowl stands 3 inches tall.  This basket / bowl basically has six sides and features a scalloped edge top.  I love the Wildflower pattern - I think that it is one of the most beautiful of the Elegant Depression patterns.  This piece is in PRISTINE CONDITION with no chips, no cracks, no cloudiness, no loss to the etching... - just perfect!!  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  Thank you for visiting my eBay page and Happy Shopping!!  Remember*** Shipping to the West Coast may cost more.  Please wait for an invoice before making your payment.
