    Postal stationery 2c card carmine rose on white printed by American Bank Note Company to commemorate the centenary of Panama's independence. Higgins & Gage No.13. the card is postmarked Calidonia, a suburb of Panama City December 23rd 1929 in violet with a transit postmark of Panama City. The card is addressed to Germany by Paul Weyland at the Laboratory of Hospital Panama. In the card, to his sister, he writes not to address letters to him to Canal Zone: 'Canal Zone is false, that is a completely different political area.'
